About StudyDork

StudyDork is a free iPhone app for studying with friends: join a clan, focus alongside friends with a Pomodoro timer and app blocker, earn rewards and build a study space that feels like yours.

Studying is better with friends. StudyDork turns your focus sessions into a social study game where you can join clans, study alongside other students and level up together.

Why StudyDork exists

Studying alone with a phone in reach is hard. Apps are built to pull you back in, and willpower runs out long before the exam does.

StudyDork takes the other side. It blocks the apps that pull you away, and it makes the time you do focus count for something you can see: XP, a streak, a room that grows and a clan that notices when you show up.

Most of all, it puts other students in the room with you. Seeing your clanmates studying at their desks is a reason to sit down at yours.

What StudyDork does

StudyDork combines five things in one app:

  • Study together: join a study clan, see who's focusing and chat with your group
  • Stay focused: a study timer, Pomodoro sessions and an app blocker
  • Rewards: XP, gems, streaks, a weekly leaderboard and reward chests
  • Your study space: a Dorkling character and a room you decorate
  • Progress: study time, sessions, subjects and streaks
